Route 1: Capilano River Regional Park

Capilano River Regional Park is a unique place to walk on the North Shore due to its beautiful views of the Capilano River and canyon from the dam. On one side of the dam, there is a grass area where many people enjoy having picnics and soaking up the sun. On the other side, there is a well-maintained gravel trail where people run, walk, and bike. As seen in the map below, the path splits off into many different trails, with some more difficult than others.
